Places with a Past
 

O.K., I'll admit that ghost towns are probably a photographic cliché.  I photograph them because I find them absolutely fascinating.  Besides, the interiors of abandoned buildings almost always offer possibilities for b&w photography.  The places I've included are, for the most part, places well off the beaten path;  places that most outsiders haven't seen and that most locals take for granted.  All of them have an interesting past.
