Canyons Portfolio

I love the canyons of the desert southwest. However, they are photographed so much that it is difficult to do anything very original.  I find that my vision is usually best served by relying on normal to medium telephoto lenses , as opposed to wide angle, to isolate some part or element in a way that might be different.  For example, I really loved the repetition in Blue Canyon.  Another example of this approach is Lone Juniper.  On the other hand, I sometimes just get carried away by the light as was the case in BryceCanyon Dusk.
